Se on perlillä tehty frontend käyttäen rsynciä ja hard-linkkejä incremental varmistuksiin. Erona rsnapshotiin on, että etäasiakkaiden varmistus tapahtuu<br /> serverin liipaisemana, ei asiakkaiden.<br /> <br /> Varmistuksissä käytetään rsyncin --link-dest optiota joka luo kovan linkin<br /> kohteeseen, jos tiedosto ei ole muuttunut. Muuten rsync siirtää normaaliin<br /> tapaan vain muuttuneet osat. Tiedostoja eikä dataa deduplikoida muulla tavalla.<br /> <br /> Konfiguroinnissa säädetään lähinnä aikarajat, kuinka kauan tietoja säilytetään, halutut asiakkaat ja tiedostojärjestelmät sekä mitä jätetään varmistamatta.<br /> Oletusajastus säilyttää viimeisiä päiviä ja jättää kuukausittaisia ja<br /> kvartaalisia fulleja levylle.
